Connie Evingson returns to the Jungle August 22 with "Summer Samba", a preview of her upcoming CD of Brazilian samba and bossa nova music.
Joined by an all-star band including guitarist Joan Griffith and saxophonist Dave Karr, Connie sings the music of Antonio Carlos Jobim ("Girl from Ipanema"), Luiz Bonfa ("Samba de Orfeu"), Marcos Valle ("Summer Samba") and others. Don't miss the smooth and sultry rhythms of "Summer Samba" at the Jungle. Dancing in the aisles permitted!
