Parking in the Lyn-Lake Area

The Jungle Theater is located at:

2951 Lyndale Ave S Minneapolis, MN 55408

We understand that parking has always been a challenge in the Lyn-Lake area so we have put together a map of places to park while spending time in the neighborhood. Please also note that there is free on-street parking in residential areas including Garfield, Aldrich and Bryant Avenues.


Parking Lot Key

A - The Garfield Lot.
The largest of the lots is located directly behind the Jungle. Drive a motorcycle? One dollar per bike and free after 5pm on Thursdays.
B - The Uptown Cit Apartments Lot.
This lot is located one block west of Lyndale. To access lot, enter on Aldrich. This lot takes credit cards.
C - The Herkimer Lot.
There aren't a lot of spaces in the lot but it is open for the public. Enter either on Lyndale or better yet through the alley off of Lake.

From the South:

1. 35W North
2. Take exit 15 toward Lake St/31st Street
3. Merge onto 2nd Ave South
4. Turn Left at East Lake Street
5. Turn Right at Lyndale Ave South
6. Destination will be on the right.

From the North:

1. 35W South
2. Take exit 17B to merge onto I-94 W
3. Take exit 231B for Lyndale Ave toward Hennepin Ave
4. Keep right at the fork, follow signs for Lyndale Ave S/Lyndale Ave N/Hennepin Ave N
5. Keep Left at the fork
6. Keep left at the fork, follow signs for Lyndale Ave
7. Continue straight
8. Slight right at Lyndale Ave South
9. Destination will be on the left.

From the West:

1. I-394 E
2. Take exit 8A to merge onto Dunwoody Blvd/Wayzata Blvd Toward Hennepin Ave
3. Turn right at Lyndale Ave South
4. Slight left to stay on Lyndale Ave S
5. Destination will be on the left.

From the East:

1. I-94 W/US-10 W toward I 35E. Continue to follow I-94 W
2. Take exit 231B for Lyndale Ave toward Hennepin Ave
3. Keep right at the fork, follow signs for Lyndale Ave S/Lyndale Ave N/Hennepin Ave N
4. Keep left at the fork
5. Keep left at the fork, follow signs for Lyndale Ave
6. Continue straight
7. Slight right at Lyndale Ave S
Destination will be on the left .
