The King of Denmark is dead. Consumed with grief, Prince Hamlet determines to avenge his father's apparent murder, with devastating consequences for his family and the Kingdom. Bain Boehlke directs an epic Jungle production of Shakespeare’s disturbing and psychologically rich masterpiece. Featuring Michelle Barber as Gertrude and Bradley Greenwald as Claudius.

Bain Boelke

BAIN BOEHLKE is the founding Artistic Director of the Jungle Theater, and since the Jungle's inception 20 years ago, has directed, designed and/or appeared in most of the theater's productions.  Over his 50+ year theater career, he has also worked in theaters around the country including the Arizona Theatre Company, Louisville Children's Theatre and Honolulu Theatre for Youth.  Bain was the Associate Artistic Director and a leading actor at the Children's Theater Company for thirteen years.  He was the recipient of the 2001 McKnight Fellowship for Theater Arts, and was recently honored as the 2009 Distinguished Artist of the Year by the McKnight Foundation.  You may recognize him (or his voice) from his appearance as Mr. Mohra in the Coen brothers' film Fargo.
